Exemption Status –Not for secular credit

The Seminary has obtained exemption status with theFLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION. The Commission for Independent Education and having complied with Section 1005.06 (1) (f), Florida Statutes pursuant to Religious institutions datedJuly 19, 2006. The entitlement allows the Seminary to issue religious degree in the Associate, Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degree levels with a religious modifier.The Seminary renews the exemption from the Florida Department of Education each year. The affidavit for exception is filed each year with the CIA for approval. The degree’s are not for secular reason but only for religious ministry training and should not be understood as credit but for religious purposes with a religious modifier being used. The degree programs of NYCFGTS are designed primarily for religious vocations.

WE ISSUE MINISTERIAL DEGREE FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF TRAINING MEN AND WOMEN FOR THE MINISTRY OF JESUS CHRIST. OUR SEMINARY ISSUES CERTIFICATION, LICENSE AND ORDINATION AND SHOULD NOT BE UNDERSTOOD AS SECULAR, OR STATE OR FEDERAL LICENSE OR CREDIT, BUT FOR ECCLESASTICAL PURPOSES ONLY.
