Membership with the association is as follows:
1. Licensing and ordination
2. Open membership (fellowship)
3. Affiliations and charter ship

Licensing

The association has licensed and ordained men and women for the end timework for the Lord Jesus Christ. The Association issues four levels of credentials and certificates to qualified individuals:
1. Intern-Minister
2. Certified Minister
3. License Minister
4. Ordained Minister.

Open Membership

There is an open membership offered for all those who desire the fellowship of other Christians in local ministry and service. There is also membership for students and clergy.

Affiliations & Charterships

The Association grants charter ship in two categories:

A. Affiliate Charter Group: This group has its own membership, board, and constitution but is similar to its parent group NYC FULL GOSPEL. They come under the umbrella of the parent group and are able to operate in the State they reside using the exemption status the Association has as a religious Christian group. Affiliates can be Churches, or any Para-Ministry outreach ministry. Affiliates do not have to be incorporated, but fall under the heading of its parent organization. The pastor as well as the church are under NYC Full Gospel Theological Seminary advisory board which helps both pastor and church as a unit of assembly.

B. Associate Charter Group: This group has obtained its own exemption status and is incorporated as a non-profit Christian group, but would like to have association with the NYC FULL GOSPEL Seminary and Association of Counselors, Pastors and its Churches. Associates are autonomous having their own board, elders and govern themselves. Associate status provides the Christian organization accountability and pastoral oversight for both the pastor and the congregation.

REQUIREMENTS NEEDED:


A.All charter groups must be acceptable to the bi-laws and statement of faith
of the Association.
B.Charter groups are required to submit quarterly reports of the activities of its group.
C. All groups must indicate their affiliation or association with the NYC FULL
Gospel Association - in their advertisement. This is a necessity for Affiliate
groups. Affiliates must register their group in the State they reside in, obtaining
an ID number from the local IRS agency and State corporations division.
process is varied from State to State, the parent Association will help guide
the affiliate in the process to obtain legal documents and receive Tax
exemption status in their State under the Umbrella of the Parent Association.

CHARTER FEE'S:

1. An application fee of $ 75.00 to be submitted with the groups application (non-refundable)
2. An annual fee for charter of $175.00 per year for affiliate status and $100. for associate status. The charter is renewed each year in the month of January.

ASSOCIATION’S YEARLY DUES, DISCOUNTS, and REGISTRATION

1. There is an annual due of $ 50.00 for all members. Dues are renewed prior to the first of each year. All members receive membership cards each year.

2. Students enrolled in the education programs of the Seminary, who become members, receive a 15% discount on their tuition cost.

Association Registration

On each Application or Registration form there is a space, which asks if you like to apply for membership with the Association. Check off the box and remit the dues required. You will receive your Membership Card in the mail.

Association Publications

The Association’s Minister and Church Manual provide information on the Association, its requirements for candidates, minister’s duties, and by-laws of the organization. Also there is a section for charter membership and requirements. You may request a copy by phone or e-mail. There is a fee of $10.00 plus shipping cost for the manual.

The Association publishes a quarterly journal newsletter regarding pastoral counseling and ministry, which its members receive. It provides a yearly conference, which members may attend for personal and professional enrichment.

PHILOSOPHY and MISSION

Consistent with the mission of NYC Full Gospel, the association is an organization of Christian counselors, ministers, and churches, for a three fold purpose. The first purpose is to provide licensing and ordination to its seminary graduates as well as to those who have completed training from other institutions. The second objective is to provide a place where Christian counselors, ministers, and churches may connect for fellowship, encouragement, support, mentoring and friendship. The final intention is to provide affiliations or charterships to churches and ministries. 

We are Full Gospel in nature and a fellowship full of brotherly love toward one another. Love is the core desire among our members consisting of kindness, compassion, and loyalty. The association recognizes the call of God placed on people’s lives for ministry as the Holy Spirit leads them into God’s work, therefore members are viewed as fellow piers along with their churches and ministries.

The Association continues to reach out, maintain communication, and form alliances other Full Gospel associations and Evangelicals in order to reach the World with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. “WELCOME DEAR SERVANT!
